Course Information:

The 5K course has been USATF certified and is run purely on South Lake Trail as a simple, flat, out and back course.
The Start and Finish are at the pavilion just south of the bathrooms on the east side of 12th Street (Lake Mineola Shores) at Lake Hiawatha Preserve which is to the west of Lake Minneola.
From the Start proceed south along the trail, cross over the bridge and then past the West Beach bathrooms. Continue past the Boathouse, then the Historic Village and the S bend just before the big fishing pier. The turnaround point is about ¼ mile further along the trail close to the next wooden pier.
Retrace your steps to the finish.

Very occasionally it will be necessary to run a 2 lap course starting and finishing at the same place with a turnaround close to West Beach.
