12:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Cowboy Cove
Get the kiddos over to the Cowboy Cove to cool down after some Garfield County Fair and Rodeo fun!
12:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Petting zoo and pony rides
12:00 pm: Commissioner's Cookie Jar
Join the Garfield County Commissioners as they sample some delicious cookies made by local chefs to decide which are the best.
12:00 pm: Kid's tractor pull
Thursday tractor pulls take place at 12, 2, and 4 pm | It's time to get those pedals pumping at the Garfield County Fair and Rodeo.
12:30 pm: Apple Pie Judging
Garfield County's most mouthwatering pies are judged by a panel of discerning experts.
1:00 pm: ShenaniGuns
Thursday showtimes: 1 pm, 3 pm & 6:30 pm | ShenaniGuns brings high-caliber comedy to Rifle
3:00 pm: Skillet Toss
Ladies skillet throwing contest open to the public. The winner gets a $100 gift card!No husbands will be injured in this contest.
7:00 pm: PRCA/WPRA ProRodeo
For the 12th straight year, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) ProRodeo and Women's Pro Rodeo Association (WPRA) stampede into the Garfield County Fair & Rodeo. The rodeo night is sponsored by Coors, an official national sponsor of the PRCA, and Western Slope Communications. The PRCA, which is the oldest professional rodeo-sanctioning body in the world, is also continuing its tradition of honoring American veterans at the event.
