Holistic Wellness Tent Schedule

10:00 AM: 
Slow Flow Yoga with Shei Sanchez. Start your Sunday with connection to your movement and breath. A wonderful way to prepare for the final day of the festival, by moving, breathing, stretching and relaxing. For all levels!

11:00 AM: 
Meditation with Athens KTC . Stay after yoga, or join us to sit in meditation with an experienced meditator from the Buddhist tradition.

1:00 PM: 
Introduction to Chi Gong with David Russell. Enliven your energy, dissolve tension and stress through Qi Gong: the art of effortless power.
Qi Gong is a mind, body, spirit practice that uses: posture, stretching , breathing techniques, and flowing movements to cultivate life force energy and bring balance between your emotions and your physical self.

Kids’ Tent Schedule

11:00 AM: Solid Ground School Storytime. Bring your young child to join a relaxing story time in the shade featuring seasonal songs, hand-claps, and a local Pawpaw story.
12:00 PM: Get Crafty with Pawpaw Seeds presented by Community Food Initiatives
1:00 PM: Screen print your own shirt with Rising Appalachia, or a hemp square. Donations requested for shirts, squares of hemp are free!
2:00 PM: Kids' Drum Circle with Lawrence Greene of Ugata. Drums provided for first 10 participants. Bring your own drums if you have them.
3:00 PM: Get ready for some Slip 'n Slide FUN with Rising Appalachia
4:00 PM: Game of scramble: All ages welcome for everyone's favorite variant of dodgeball.
