Devils Lake, along with the Irvine/Alice Complex and its associated lakes, and the Missouri River are by far the most obvious fisheries in North Dakota. Lake Sacajawea, a Missouri River impoundment is huge—and hugely popular with anglers. Lake Oahe and Beaver Creek, along with the chain of lakes in South Central North Dakota all presented terrific fishing opportunities.
