The Las Vegas Ice Center is open to public skating regularly and offers many special events throughout the year. Special events include home school skating, between 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. (with free hot chocolate), teen nights on Friday with a live DJ, and more.
The SoBe Ice Arena, also in Vegas, is part of the Fiesta Rancho, a large gaming facility. The rink is National Hockey League (NHL) regulation size, at 31,000 square-feet. They offer skating lessons, skate schools, and various sports leagues.
From November to February, the city of Reno, Nevada, hosts a fabulous ice rink in the downtown area. While primarily used for ice skating, feel free to come by with friends for pickup hockey games.
