Charlotte County deputies were called to the El Jobean Bridge in Port Charlotte after a boater reported seeing a bobcat beneath it. The deputies and volunteers from the Wildlife Center of Venice headed to the scene where they were able to snare the bobcat and bring him onto a boat. Deputies believe the bobcat was hit by a car and seeking refuge. The bobcat was rehabilitated and later safely released back into the wild!
