This year’s event takes place on Friday, July 4 with activities all day.

7:30-9:30am - Pancake Breakfast for $5 at Kentwood Fire Station 1, 4775 Walma Ave SE
Kids  3 and under eat for free. Please note: Only cards will be accepted for payment at the event - no cash.

8:00am - 5K Race & Fun Walk at the Kentwood City Hall, 4900 Breton SE

9:30am - Parade - Starts at Crestwood Middle School, travels south on Walma to Breton, turns north at the roundabout, east on 44th and ends at Crestwood Middle School

10:30am-2:30pm -Carnival with rides and kids’ activities at Kentwood City Hall
Purchase a carnival wristband in advance for $20 at City Hall and the Kentwood Activities Center on Wednesday, July 2 - Thursday, July 3. Please note: Only cards will be accepted for payment at the event - no cash.

4:00-10:00pm - Evening Celebration at Kentwood City Hall:
- Community Booths
- Beer Tent (card only - no cash)/ Food Trucks (most accept card and cash)
- Live Music
4:00-5:30pm - Signal Trip
6:15-7:45pm - Simply in Time
8:30-fireworks - Par-llo Connection
