This 4th of July, the fun will once again be found at State Fair Park in Yakima, Washington. You won’t want to miss a fabulous family-oriented Fourth of July, complete with a carnival featuring exciting rides for the young and young at heart. The day of fun culminates in a fantastic, 20-minute long fireworks display, sponsored by Yakima County ,and the City of Union Gap accompanied by patriotic music.

Bring your own picnic to share with family and friends or purchase food from one of the many vendors you’ll find throughout the fairgrounds. Stake out a spot on the lawns for the day, starting at noon, and stay to watch the fireworks display at 10:00 pm!

Due to safety precautions, NO charcoal or gas/propane barbecues will be allowed on the grounds.

Food Vendors You can purchase a large array of food and drink from one of the many concessionaires, including the Yakima Chief Beer Garden, that will be open to serve you from noon to 11:30pm.

FREE Parking Parking for the 4th of July Celebration is FREE to the public all day. To park, enter through Gate #15 from Pacific Avenue.

KIDS ACTIVITIES: Don't miss out on the Kids Zone including FREE face painting and kids activities such as jump rope, a giant coloring wall, badminton, gunny sack races, and lots more..

Water Features & Foam Pit - six fun filled water features that spray water and a foam pit that fills up every hour at the top of the hour starting a 2pm - kids and adults can run through them, during the 4th of July weekend.
