Virginia City’s 4th of July is pure Americana with a jovial atmosphere all day and night. The streets are decked in red, white and blue. The parade is full of candy-throwing, classic cars, first responders, military, veteran organizations and more.
In addition to the parade, festivities include a free concert taking place before the fireworks with David John & the Comstock Cowboys and special events throughout town. When it comes to the main show, you’re guaranteed to feel the 'boom' of the fireworks in your bones as the display shoots into the night sky towering above the small mountain town.

4th of July on the Comstock activities include:

12 p.m. – 4th of July Parade
6 p.m. – David John & the Comstock Cowboys Free Second Amendment Concert at the Bucket of Blood parking lot
Dusk – Fireworks Spectacular
