Macon, GA -- The Masonic Home of Georgia is excited to announce the annual 5K Road and Trail Run for the Kids fundraiser. The entry-level, family friendly 5K takes place on the 650-acre campus of the Masonic Home of Georgia in Macon and is open to adults and children of all ages. The morning run will culminate in an awards ceremony and a festive post-race celebration.
The 5K serves as a fundraiser for the Masonic Home of Georgia. Funds raised through sponsorships and runner registrations are used to support the daily operations of the home for children. Since donations are made directly to the home, nearly 100% of contributions are allocated to providing food, housing, education and healthcare for the home's residents. The Masonic Home of Georgia is a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning corporate and individual donations tax-deductible.
“We invite everyone to visit our beautiful campus along the Ocmulgee River and take part in this fun, family-friendly event. As our capacities increase, we rely on the support of generous individuals to successfully continue our life-saving mission.” - Chris Babcock, Superintendent.
