Schedule of Events:

9:00 a.m: The "First In State" Fun Run

The "First In State" Fun Run is hosted by the cadets in the '89er Battalion; Guthrie High School JROTC. As a fun run, we encourage competitive runners, recreational runners as well as walkers; walk your dog, push a stroller or simply enjoy the fellowship of your friends and neighbors. This a community fund raising event for our students and the proceeds will support educational and leadership training opportunities for the students in JROTC. A portion of the proceeds will support Veteran organizations and charities.

Location: Start and Finish at Honor Park in Downtown Guthrie  - at around 300 West Harrison Avenue across from the Oklahoma Publishing Museum.

12pm: 89er Days Parade

1:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Carnival

Location: The Carnival Rides and Games will be at the West end of Oklahoma Avenue on the North side of the road (North of 2nd Street), and Food Trucks and Vendors will be located along 1st Street from Cleveland Avenue to Harrison Avenue.

2:00 PM: The Land Run Brard and Mustache Contest

Do you have a face full of hair that makes you the envy of all the other gentlemen in town?  Do the ladies sigh at the sight of your masculine mutton chops or your manly mustache?  Do little forest animals nest in your fine forest of a beard?  Join us for the Third Annual LAND RUN BEARD AND MUSTACHE CONTEST!

Location: In front of theGrand Ole Barber Shopat 103 West Oklahoma Avenue in Guthrie.

'89ers Day Rodeo:

89er Day Rodeo (TICKETS REQUIRED)

Gates open at 6:00 pm.

Mutton Bustin at 6:30 pm.

Rodeo at 7:30 pm.

Tickets:
$10 EACH ADULT (purchase at the door)
$5 EACH CHILD (purchase at the door)

Location: Logan County Fairgrounds Arena at 215 Fairgrounds Road in Guthrie.
