The Adams Morgan Day 5K is more than a race—it's a movement to bridge the gap in mental health wellness in Ward 7 and Ward 9 of Washington, D.C. Together, we run to raise awareness, promote equitable access to resources, and inspire a community united in support of mental health for all.
We encourage everyone to train in advance for the Adams Morgan Day 5K, as part of the route includes a challenging hill. Join a "Run Group" or start training at least three months ahead to prepare. Rest assured, lifesaving EMS will be on-site to ensure safety, in compliance with guidelines from the District of Columbia Government.
The Adams Morgan Day 5K is unique because proceeds will directly fund the creation of a community clinic to address the critical shortage of mental wellness services in Ward 7 and Ward 8. This clinic will offer therapy during nontraditional hours, providing a vital resource for individuals seeking support when other options are unavailable.
