Earth Day began in 1970 and is celebrated annually in April to promote responsible use and conservation of the planet’s resources. Global in scope, this event is celebrated in over 190 countries.

Newberry Street Festival Area and The Alley will be filled with exhibits, food stations, music, guest speakers and many educational displays. Displays and vendors include information on solar panels, beekeepers, wild turkey grower, the Aiken Master Gardeners, craft projects, face painting and more.

The event is family-focused and open to children and adults. Family canines on leashes are also welcome.
