What if there was a Marathon that started downtown and then showed off the Metro Parks? The inaugural Akron Trail Marathon does just that! You will start at Memorial Parkway trailhead, run a quick out & back into the city, then head to Summit Metro Parks. Along the way you will get to experience a beautiful hilly section of the Towpath Trail that heads out of the city, the historical locks, the Mustill Store, and waterfalls!

The course follows the locks out of downtown and then heads north on the Towpath. Remainder of course is being reworked due to bridge closure in Gorge Metro Park. Half marathon and 10k follow slightly different routes, starting at Memorial trailhead.

Awards:

Awards for first and second overall male and female in each distance. Awards also to masters male and female in each distance. Awards for first in age group, male and female each distance. Medals for all finishers.

Marathon $70 until 2/28/25, $80 until 4/30/25, $90 after 4/30/25 +Ultrasignup fee
Half marathon $50 until 2/28/25, $60 until 4/30/25, $70 after 4/30/25 +Ultrasignup fee
10k $40 until 2/28/25, $50 until 4/30/25, $60 after 4/30/25 +Ultrasignup fee
