The Apache Rattlesnake Festival, going strong for over 30 years, is known for its  amazing rattlesnake round-ups, but also features an impressive array of activities for the whole f amily. Come to this festival in Apache for a carnival, plenty of g ames, more than 250 vendors and delicious fair food. Enjoy live music performed for the crowds.

Get up close and personal with Oklahoma rattlesnakes at the annual Apache Rattlesnake Festival. Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the Apache Rattlesnake Festival allows festival-goers to take a hands-on approach to gathering rattlesnakes, or allows them to remain safely behind glass while viewing these magnificent predators. Feel an adrenaline rush as you participate in a guided snake hunt, or try something new from the snake butcher shop.

A snake pit with live snakes and snake handlers will be set up to the delight of festival-goers. Snack on fried rattlesnake before taking a turn in the snake pit if you dare. Don't miss the festival's open-air flea market, or take the kids over to the carnival area where they can enjoy a wide variety of rides.
