The Quincy Conservatory/ISMTA will host the 31st Annual Quincy Area Piano Ensemble Festival in the Kroc Center Worship Theatre on 5th and Broadway with a fabulous evening of music that makes us want to get up and move! The theme of the concert is: "Disney Plus!" Performers and audience members alike will enjoy music from the successful Disney streaming platform and amusement parks. We hope that you, your students, and their families will join us to participate in this most unique and musically rewarding experience.

What’s the festival all about? There will be 8 Yamaha Clavinovas on stage so there may be as many as 16 pianists playing the same duet together. Our guest conductor, Paul Shelor, will lead our groups in a type of “piano orchestra”, or “monster ensemble”.

There are nine ability-leveled groups, ranging from beginning to advanced levels, and within each group, pairs of pianists play two duets of classical favorites. We encourage teachers to select a group which is at the current level for your students. The rhythm and note reading should be easy for your student. This will provide as successful a “team” performance as possible!
