48TH Annual Hugh Holt Memorial Road Race
The Hugh Holt Memorial Road Race is a community fundraiser for scholarships for children in the Raymond Recreation summer program and a celebration of the life and legacy of Hughin Holt (1927-1990), educator, coach, and founder of the Raymond Recreation Association. The 5 Mile Road Race is immediately followed by the 1 Mile Hazel Holt Memorial Fun Run. These events take place each July on the Sunday morning of the annual Raymond Town Fair.
Race Route: The Hugh Holt Memorial Road Race begins at Gove Middle School. The finish line is on Main Street at the Town Common where an award ceremony will take place at the conclusion of the Fun Run. There will be refreshments after the race on the Common, weather permitting.
Fun Run: The 1 mile, Fun Run begins shortly after the first runners of the 5-Miler cross the finish line OR at 9:45 a.m. The Fun Run begins at the Lamprey River Elementary School, 33 Old Manchester Rd, Raymond, NH 03077, and ends at the Raymond Common where an awards ceremony will take place. Parking is available at the Elementary School. Registration is available at the start of the race beginning at 9:00 a.m. for $15 or pre-register through the Town of Raymond Recreation Department’s Rec Desk Online Registration for $10.
Entry fee:
- Pre-registration is $20.00 through the Town of Raymond Recreation Department’s Rec Desk Online Registration (https://raymondnh.recdesk.com/Community/Program) or return form to the Recreation Department.
- Race-day registrations will be accepted for a fee of $25.00 and will begin at 7:30am at the Gove Middle School.
