Hurricanes Helene and Milton Postpone Manatee River Run
Due to the significant impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton on our volunteers, community, and Emerson Point Preserve, we've made the difficult decision to postpone the 24th Annual Manatee River Run until next year. It was a tough decision to make. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you at the 2025 race.
BRC Thanksgiving Day Fun Run Turkey Trot Still On!
While the Manatee River Run is postponed, we're excited to announce that the BRC Thanksgiving Day Fun Run Turkey Trot will still take place on Thursday, November 28th at Robinson Preserve.
Important Note: Due to hurricane damage, this year's Turkey Trot will be held at the South Park with a new route.
Course Info:
A scenic adventure on hard shell-packed winding trails through a variety of native ecosystems including beaches, lagoons, salt marshes, mangrove swamps, tropical hardwood hammocks, coastal strands and finished on a paved 1.5 mile roadway to the finish.

Male and Female Overall RRCA-FL State Champion
Male and Female Masters (40+) RRCA-FL State Champion
Male and Female Grand Masters (50+) RRCA-FL State Champion
Male and Female Senior Grand Masters (60+) RRCA-FL State Champion
Male and Female Veteran Grand Masters (70+) RRCA-FL State Champion
In addition to the RRCA-FL State Championship awards, the overall winners will also receive gift cards to local running stores. Who doesn't love free running gear!?!
