North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is the largest winter mountain festival on the West Coast. Our annual event celebrates the best of North Lake Tahoe by showcasing the relationships between the local community and the people who visit. Our mission is to support local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations, and scholarships, through the production of our unique ten-day festival.
Schedule of Events:
7:00 am - 11:00 am: North Tahoe Firefighters Assoc. PANCAKE BREAKFAST Tahoe City
North Tahoe Firefighters Association Pancake Breakfast $10 per adult $5 per child (kids under 12). Right before the Tahoe City Street Fair (formerly parade). Come check out some Firetrucks and other equipment. North Tahoe Fire Department merch for sale as well. A delicious way to support your local firefighters.
8:00 am - 5:00 pm: Frozen Pickle Pickleball Tournament
Support youth programs and compete in the 1st Annual Frozen Pickle Cup at the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Three divisions: Men's Doubles, Women's Double, and Adult-Child Doubles (13+ under). 8am-5pm (times vary based on division). $60-residents, $80-non-residents.
9:00 am - 5:00 pm: A History of Snowboarding In Lake Tahoe- WATSON CABIN
A "History of Snowboarding in Lake Tahoe" exhibit at the Watson Cabin showcases the evolution of snowboarding in the Lake Tahoe region featuring artifacts, photos, videos, and historical information detailing the early pioneers of snowboarding in the area, key developments in the sport, and how Lake Tahoe became a prominent snowboarding destination, all presented within the context of the historic Watson Cabin museum itself. Free admission all weekend!
11:00am - 1:30pm: Tahoe City SNOWFEST Street Fair (former Parade)
The Tahoe City Parade is now a Street Fair!! Sign up to take part or come on out to watch as the best and brightest of N. Lake Tahoe compete to see who is the Best In Show (Prizes awarded), Best Youth Entry, Most Tahoe, and Rookie of the Year! This years theme is Lake Tahoe Mountain Mardi-gras.
Entries will line the streets in stationary spots along the old parade route from 11:00am to 1:30pm. There will be vendors at the Penny Bear Park w- Snowfest Merch, other and info on non-profits supported by our events.
12:00pm - 4:00pm: Garwood's Annual Polar Bear Swim

12:00pm - 7:00pm: Tahoe Art Haus and Tahoe Tap Haus "BlizzardFest" Brewfest - benefiting Shane McConkey Foundation
The Tahoe Art Haus and Cinema and Tahoe Tap Haus' annual BrewFest, aka BlizzardFest, is back! Located in the Cobblestone parking lot, there will be multiple breweries pouring beer and DJs spinning beats on the Edna the Elephant art car. Benefits the Shane McConkey Foundation. It's the best outdoor dance party of the year!

5:00pm - 8:00pm: SNOWFEST Fireworks w- the NOMADS
March 1st at the Tahoe City Golf Course with a Firework show Music w- the NOMADS. Music will kick it off at 5:30 Fireworks approx. 7pm. This is the only firework show on Lake Tahoe's North Shore. Don't miss it. Learn more about SNOWFEST Tahoe fireworks.
8:30pm: Snowfest After Hours- Featuring VICE GRIP@ PETE 'N PETERS
Come in out of the cold after the Snowfest Fireworks Extravaganza for more great local live music featuring LOCAL favorites VICE GRIP!!! 8:30 until its over
