Schedule of Events:

12:00 pm: Girls Rock! Rochester
02:30 pm: FUNKNUT

Funknut was formed in 2006 to spread the message of love using their instruments. Combining the improvisation of jazz, the greasiness of funk and the honesty of soul, they are a force to be reckoned with. Funknut has been described as "Skillful and masterful" by City Newspaper and put simply, "Funktastic" from Jambands.com. Led by Tony Gallicchio (Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad) on the keyboards, it has always featured a rotating cast of Rochester's finest funksters. That is what makes it so special. Every night is different from the last and full of surprises from some of NY's best musicians. Over the years, the band has amassed a growing, loyal fanbase. The funk is alive!

Tony Gallicchio (Keyboards, Vocals), Chris English (Drums, Vocals), Sean McLay (Bass, Vocals), Paul McArdle (Guitar)

4:00 pm: Helium Bubble

Helium Bubble brings together some of Rochester's finest musicians to create a collective vision, stripping away egos in pursuit of a shared musical experience. Their sound is a fusion of neo-soul, funk, jazz, and rock-rooted in the diverse musical backgrounds of its members and inspired by bands like Snarky Puppy, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Erykah Badu. Through deep grooves, soulful vocals, and improvisational energy, they deliver a one-of-a-kind musical experience.

Originally conceived to support rising star Julia Weatherholtz, an internationally touring vocalist with influences ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Amy Winehouse, the band curated a lineup of standout regional talent. The roster includes Paul McArdle, a Rochester guitar legend; Brother Wilson, a dynamic guitarist with old-school flair; Greg Woodsbie, a pianist blending jazz, classical, and Cuban influences; Tyrone Coley, a bassist known for his deep pocket; and Tommy Mintel, a drummer renowned for his groove and energy.

Helium Bubble's music reflects the love, friendship, and respect shared among its members. Whether on intimate stages or in larger venues, their performances are defined by infectious energy, virtuosic musicianship, and a commitment to artistic authenticity.

5:30 pm: Spooky and The Truth
Based in Rochester, NY, Spooky and The Truth's five-man band creates a smoky fusion of familiar pop elements with a personal strain of Americana. The Truth's minimal performance style is both intimate and powerful, bittersweet and inspiring.

7:00 pm: Katie Pruitt

Katie Pruitt is living proof of music's power to transform the way we experience the world. Soon after the arrival of her acclaimed debut Expectations-a 2020 LP on which she documented her journey in growing up queer in the Christian South-the Georgia-bred singer/songwriter/guitarist heard from countless listeners that her songs had impacted their lives on an elemental level. With her sophomore album Mantras, the Nashville-based musician now looks inward to explore such matters as gender identity, self-compassion or the lack thereof, and the struggle for peace in times of chaos and uncertainty-ultimately arriving at a body of work that speaks to the strength in undoing harmful self-beliefs and fully living your truth.
