The 40th annual Sunrise Stampede is right around the corner—and you won't want to miss this legendary back-to-school tradition! Join us the weekend before school starts for a fun, family-friendly morning packed with community spirit and support for our incredible St. Vrain schools.

5K Run + 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – Great for all ages and paces!
New Course, New Memories – Enjoy our beautiful open space trails in this milestone year.

Back-to-School Kickoff – Reconnect with classmates, teachers, and friends!

Sponsor Alley – Games, giveaways, and activities for the whole family.

School Spirit Challenge – The SVVSD school with the most participants wins a trophy and cash prize!

Prizes for Top Runners – Awards in age categories for the 5K.
Costume Contest - Team and individual winners will receive prizes!

Best of all, proceeds support the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation's Teacher Innovation Grants, including Special Education and Mental Health grants that empower educators and uplift students.

August 9, 2025 - Race Day
6:45 am - Check In, Race Day Registration and Sponsor Alley Open
7:45 am - 1 Mile Fun Run Registration Closes
8:00 am - 1 Mile Fun Run Start
8:15 am - 5K Race Day Registration Closes
8:30 am - 5k Start
9:15 am - Awards Ceremony

5K Race Registration is $35 (Register by May 25th to save $10 on your 5K registration!)
Entry into the 5K Race
