The City Council invites you to attend our annual Volunteer Spring Cleanup of Ballinger Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 26,  with lunch following for volunteers. This event is held in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day. The city was named as a “Tree City USA” and your help is needed to support the beautiful landscape of this park.

If you have a small group that would like to participate, please contact Parks Supervisor Celina Williams at 425-776-1811 to register in advance so we can plan accordingly.

A limited number of tools will be available to share. We ask that you please bring your rakes, weed pullers, and non-electric pruning tools and participate in pruning, removing blackberry and invasive plants, weeding, raking and trash pick up. Work or gardening gloves are strongly encouraged and boots are recommended if there has been recent rain.

Volunteers should meet at Mickey Corso Clubhouse (Lake Ballinger Center) 23000 Lakeview Drive for a brief meeting at 9 a.m.  Lunch will be provided indoors and if the weather is nice, you may enjoy it out in the park!
