When you come to Shrink, you’re getting three shows in one. The night begins with stand-up comedy, followed by a real therapy session with a licensed mental health professional, and ends with improv inspired by everything that came before it.

The show was created by a licensed clinical social worker and improviser, who wanted to understand why stand-up comedians often trauma dump on stage while improvisers seem so overwhelmingly cheerful. Shrink explores the intersection of humor, art, and mental health, creating a space for honesty, vulnerability, and comedy that feels both cathartic and unexpected.
