Join us for a tour of Live Thrive's original Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM)! This tour includes an overview of Live Thrive's mission, the history of Live Thrive and CHaRM, information on how materials are collected and processed on-site, tips for how to incorporate the basics of recycling and sustainable materials management at school and at home, an interactive game, and a full tour of the CHaRM Atlanta facility!

Mathematical genius transforms into visual poetry at "The Art of Math," a groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the extraordinary realm where numbers and creativity collide. Inspired by Martin Gardner's revolutionary thinking, this exhibition showcases world-renowned mathematical artists who reveal mathematics as a profound artistic language. Learn about the future of sustainable construction! Synthetic Aggregate Association is partnering with Science for Georgia to host an exciting, hands-on event focused on sustainable construction practices. We will be at a new PATH 400 location where they are making large planters and public gardens! Learn how hard-to-recycle waste materials can be transformed into concrete, helping reduce the environmental impact of construction. What does slam poetry have to do with computer science? Allow us to introduce data poetics -- artistic expression, fueled by data. In this workshop, you will learn about the impact of how data captures our world and how language can be used to express it. You will have the opportunity to write a poem, sketch visualizations of data to accompany the poem, and (optionally) perform it.
