1300 S McDonald Rd

The Autumn River Run: Challenge yourself with a 5K, 10K or North Platte’s original half-marathon.

START TIMES: Half-marathon starts from the Rec Center parking lot at 7:30 a.m., followed by 10K and 5K at 7:45 a.m.

THE COURSE: The flat, out-and-back course will bring you through a large section of the North Platte Trails Network (click the map to enlarge). The route is mostly concrete, with some gravel and asphalt. Aid stations will be available on the course, fully stocked with water and snacks. Be sure to vote for your favorite after the race. Port-A-Potties will also be available along the route.

TIMING: Race is manually timed. Please plan to wear your race number throughout the race and over the finish line.

PACKET PICKUP: Early packet pickup will be available from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, at the Rec Center. Late registration and same-day packet pickup will be available from 6:30-7:15 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 14. Please plan to arrive in enough time to find parking, as the main Rec Center parking lot (on southwest side of building) will be closed for the race.

AWARDS: Awards will include cash prizes for the overall men’s and women’s half-marathon winners, with additional awards for the top 3 in each age group by gender.

We believe every finisher is special, and special final finisher awards in the 5K, 10K and half-marathon will also be awarded.

POST-RACE: Refreshments will be available to all athletes, as well as post-race massages for half-marathon finishers.
