Bears Ears Ultra is a 50 mile, 50K, 30K event hosted in the quiet Abajo Mountains of Monticello, Utah.  The course treats runners to views overlooking Canyonlands National Park and the Bears Ears National Monument. You can even catch views of Monument Valley and the Bears Ears Buttes! Off in the distance is Dead Horse Point State Park, Six Shooter Peaks, Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area, and the La Sal Mountains. Beginning the race in the early morning quiet, runners are greeted to sunrise over Canyonlands National Park.  Once climbing up the single track of Robertson Pasture Trail, runners see as far as Colorado's San Juan Mountains. Topping out at almost 11,000 ft., runners have wide open views of Southeastern Utah’s canyon country, too! In addition to the amazing views, runners get to run on some of the most remote singletrack trails in Utah!
