Each year for the last 20+ years, roughly 15,000 Louisville area residents visit our little neighborhood to enjoy the sights and sounds (and tastes too!) of the Belknap Fall Festival. The the epicenter of the festival is Douglass Loop, behind Havana Rumba and CVS Pharmacy.
It’s an annual tradition, bringing together neighbors and people outside Belknap, for a two-event (Friday night and all-day Saturday): More than 100 local artists, live music, beer and wine, food trucks, educational activities, and a family fun zone. Whether your child wants to paint a pumpkin, your wife wants to start holiday shopping a little early, or you just want to kick back with a beer and listen to music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Planning a big festival like this takes lots of help from neighbors! If you have attended in the past but never helped out, then consider making this year the time to jump in and lend a hand. You could help with planning and organizing or volunteer for a two-hour shift during the festival. There’s a place for everyone to pitch in and make our neighborhood look great for visitors.
