BHM26.2 is Alabama’s only fully charitable race series, benefiting Magic Moments.

Comprised of a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5k and kid’s fun run, BHM26.2’s race weekend brings an exciting course to the Birmingham Metro Area.

With over 2,000 runners, this event is one of Birmingham’s most highly attended races with a family-friendly after party for participants and anyone who wants to support the cause.

Entering it’s seventh year, the race has raised over ONE MILLION DOLLARS for children in Alabama. All proceeds benefit Magic Moments. Each year, BHM26.2 brings together thousands of people with a common goal - to bring magic to children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening or acute life-altering conditions.

Boston Qualifier Course. 6-hour time limit for the Full Marathon.

Registration includes:

Race number, official timing device, t-shirt and swag bag to be picked up at packet pickup on Friday, October 4th or Saturday, October 5th

Water and Powerade along the course

Refreshments and water at the start and finish lines

Finisher’s medal when you cross the finish line

A post race meal, an adult beverage, kid’s zone, and entertainment at our official BHM26.2 after party

Awards will be given for the top 3 male and female finishers of the Full Marathon. Awards are presented at the BHM26.2 after party at 11 a.m. Age group winners will also receive a certificate at that time.

Packets MUST be shipped OR picked up at Packet Pickup on Oct. 4th or 5th. Day of pick up will NOT be available.

10:00am: Kid’s Fun Run

A quick, fun jog/walk for those 14 years and younger; however, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult (the adult does not need to register for the run)

Registration includes:

Fun Run participants under the age of 14 who have pre-registered will receive a T-shirt, post run meal, access to kids zone, and medal

Packets can be picked up at Packet Pickup on October 4th or 5th OR on race day (only available for Fun Run Kids)

AFTER PARTY

AFTER PARTY PRESENTED BY TRUCKWORX!

Join us for the BHM26.2 official after party on Sunday, October 6 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m at the Finley Center in Hoover, Alabama. Whether you are celebrating crossing the finish line or coming out for a fun day in support of a great cause, everyone is sure to have a blast at our After Party! Guests will enjoy the kids’ zone presented by VuePoint Diagnostics, post race meal provided by the Pihakis Restaurant Group, refreshments from Coca Cola Bottling Co., and Live entertainment by August Night. Beer and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 9 a.m. throughout the party .

All Marathon, Half Marathon,  10K, and 5K participants if over 21 will receive a complimentary drink. No ticket is required for entry to the After Party.
