Norfolk Boomfest

This year BoomFest will be a one day event to allow families the opportunity to celebrate on their own on the 4th, but still be able to catch Northeast Nebraskas largest fireworks show on the 5th. BoomFest will once again include an inflatable midway, military static displays, food vendors, music and the largest, most spectacular fireworks display in Northeast Nebraska to end the night.

The preshow and introductions begin at 9:45 p.m. Saturday night followed by the main fireworks show.

The 2025 Event will be Saturday only

Food Vendors:
There will be a large variety of foods, drinks, and snacks throughout the park.  Vendors open at 1:00 pm.

U-Hop Inflatable Midway:
Open 1-9pm.  All day wristbands $15

Northfork Outfitting Kayak Rentals:
$8 for a 30-minute float.  Launching from the north side of lake at the boat dock.

LifeNet Helicopter:
On display on the north side of the dike

Legion Riders:
Motorcycles will enter the park at 8:00pm and be on display near the boat dock until showtime.

Bands:
5:30 – 6:30 – Knock Martens

7:00 – 8:00 – Kancho

8:30 – 9:15 – Trailerpark Country

Fireworks Display:
Starting at 9:45 we will light up the sky with fireworks supplied by J&M Displays of Yarmouth, IA and shot by your very own BIG BANG BOOM shoot crew from right here in Norfolk.  The fireworks are digitally and electronically choreographed to a vast array of music put together by the fireworks committee, so don’t forget to bring your Big Bang Boombox so you can listen to the show on your favorite local radio station: 94 Rock (94.7), US 92 (92.7) 106 KIX (106.7) or Lite Rock (97.5).
