Point Au Roche State Park
19 Camp Red Cloud Road

This event runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and is perfect for nature enthusiasts of all skill levels. Our friendly guides, Kristin Collins, an environmental educator at Point Au Roche State Park Nature Center, and Samantha Beck, the Community Engagement and Outreach Manager for Champlain Area Trails, will lead the walk. While they're not expert birders, they bring a deep love for nature and an interest in birdwatching.

Explore the Great Outdoors:

Located on the stunning northwestern shore of Lake Champlain, Point Au Roche State Park features an excellent combination of forested and open areas. As we stroll a few miles along the trails, we will look and listen for birds and other wildlife. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and lush forests during this delightful morning outing!

Important Information:

- This is an outdoor walk in October, so be prepared for potentially chilly weather.

- BYOB (Bring Your Own Binoculars) – the Nature Center will provide a few pairs for those in need.
