The Birds in the Hills Festival Features a Variety of Habitats for You to Explore, Including Reclaimed Prairie, Early Successional Forest, and Mature Hardwoods. This Allows for a Diverse and Exciting Array of Bird Species to Be Observed.

We Are Excited to Welcome Species Like the Blackpoll Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow Warbler, Indigo Bunting, American Redstart, Scarlet Tanager, Orchard Oriole, Acadian Flycatcher, Black-billed Cuckoo, Ovenbird, and Wood Thrush as They Make Their Way Into the Area.

10:30am - 11:30am - Sounds of the Forest Hike With Lawrence Greene (Family Program)

11:30am - 12:00pm - Concluding Session With Pete Thompson and His Homing Doves
