Michigan State Championships:
We are the Michigan State Championships of Sand Sculpting. Blue Water SandFest will host Michigan's first and only major sand sculpting competition. This three day event is held at the foot of the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, along the beautiful beaches of Lake Huron. 22 Semi-Pro Solos, Doubles and dozens of amateur sculptors will be competing for the State Title.

Free Sand Sculpting Lessons:
Play. Learn. Practice. Compete. Kids can sign up for a free lessons with an experienced Sand Sculptor. Everyone can watch a Sand Sculpting Demonstration with a Master Sculptor. See schedule for specific times.

Tour the Lighthouse:
The event is all about restoring the lighthouse and grounds. So, don't forget to take a tour and enjoy the history of the oldest lighthouse in Michigan. Tours are $5 per person and guided by the Port Huron Museum. Learn more about the Port Huron Museum

Live Music Festival:
From Nashville recording artists to some of the best local musicians. We have a great line up of award winning talent.

Kids Zone:
A huge sand box filled with toys and tools where Kids and their families can practice and play in the sand.

Quick Sand Speed Sculpting Show:
Quick Sand Speed Sculpting Show is a speed sculpting show/competition where two sand sculptors are pitted against each other, head to head, in a 10 minute sculpt-off’! The audience chooses the subject and when the sculptors are done, the audience determines the winner by applause!!!! It's fast paced and very interactive you'll be amazed what the Sculptors can create in just a few minutes.

Lighthouse Beer Garden:
Sit back in the shade and enjoy your favorite beverage, watch the freighters go by and listen to some live music.
