The Berkshire Free Library will hold its 11th Blueberry and Book Festival on July 19, 2025,  starting with a blueberry pancake breakfast  (7:00 – 10:00am) followed by the main part of the festival which will be running from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. It includes a juried art show, live music at multiple locations, local authors, many vendors, chicken BBQ and many other food choices, a bake-off with lots of dessert to sample, book sale, and many  fun events for all ages including pony rides. It’s a fun way to spend a summer day and help support our library at the same time. Very easy to find and plenty of parking. Just head south on Route 38, and you will find the historic, white farmhouse library in the town of Berkshire, between Richford and Newark Valley.
