The race starts at 8:00AM from the Bluffton Oyster Factory and winds through Historic Old Town Bluffton along the May River. Run in a fast-paced 10K or Run or Walk the 5K with the entire family! Both events will be professionally timed by the Palmetto Running Company. 

The Oyster Run is a part of the Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. After you cross the finish line, celebrate with other participants and friends at the After-Party and awards presentation immediately following the race. 

Registration Fees for the race are $40 for the 5K and $50 for the 10K. Prices increased October 1st. T-shirts guaranteed if registered by October 8. 

This year's charity beneficiary is the SCORE program. The South Carolina Oyster Recycling and Enhancement Program is a SCDNR program that focuses on working with volunteers to improve SC’s oyster resources through direct involvement in hands-on stewardship activities. Volunteer activities include shell bagging, manufactured wire reef fabrication, constructing oyster reefs, oyster shell recycling, marsh grass restoration among many others. There are volunteer opportunities throughout the year and for all age ranges. The SCORE Program works in all coastal counties, as well as in-land.
