You are cordially invited to a hilarious, immersive, one-woman character clown show that explores loneliness, femininity, and the pressure to be seen. Cynthia, the ultimate party host, is in the midst of throwing her most fabulous party ever! Playful, absurd and unhinged, Cynthia wrestles with desire and disgust at the prospect of being loved and known in a world filled with ubiquitous, yet too often empty, encounters. A delightful descent into pure madness!

In this immersive comedy clown show, Cynthia greets her party guests (the audience) with warmth and exuberance and leads them through a series of interactive games. Yet, just as she begins to connect, the phone rings and the cancellations pour in from her celebrity invites. This forces Cynthia to negotiate vulnerability and loneliness in front of her guests. As the party progresses, we see Cynthia as a woman who is deeply alone as she questions what it means to be without a partner or children and friends who are busy with their own full lives. The person who was, at the beginning of the show, a confident, gregarious woman who makes others feel welcome, is revealed to be trying to keep it together by performing as an affable party host.
