2025 Broad Street Blues and BBQ Festival

FREE Admission | Music begins at 2:00 PM

It’s the final day of one of the Midwest’s premier free music festivals, and we’re closing it out with pure blues fire from beginning to end.

At 2:00 PM, the J Johnson Blues Band hits the stage with that raw, gut bucket Chicago blues that sets the tone just right.

Then at 3:30 PM, Funky Mojo Daddy brings a lineup of legendary musicians who will get you out of your seat with their high-energy, crowd-moving performance.

At 5:00 PM, making their Broad Street debut, the Sean McKee Band electrifies the stage with a powerhouse blend of blues-infused rock, jazz, funk, and jam-band energy. Sean McKee’s soulful guitar work and emotive vocals promise a set full of improvisational magic and tight grooves that’ll leave you wanting more.

At 6:30 PM, we welcome Nicholas Alexander to the Broad Street stage for the first time. Born into the blues and mentored by his father, Chicago blues legend Linsey Alexander, Nick has quickly become one of the most exciting young talents in the genre. His electrifying guitar skills, unforgettable stage presence, and show-stopping band will take you on a ride through the heart of the blues tradition.

And to close out this year’s festival in true blues fashion, we proudly bring back the great John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band.

With a resume that includes playing alongside the greatest of the greats — Muddy Waters, Magic Slim, Willie Dixon, Junior Wells, and Buddy Guy — John Primer is the living embodiment of Chicago blues. His masterful
guitar work and powerful vocals have earned him numerous awards and a permanent place in blues history. There's no better way to finish off this incredible weekend.

Bring your family, your friends, your appetite, and your love for the blues. Enjoy award-winning BBQ, ice-cold drinks, and amazing live music in one of Northwest Indiana’s most scenic parks.

Let’s send the 2025 Broad Street Blues and BBQ Festival off in style!
