The Cajun Heartland State Fair is a 10-day fair produced by the CAJUNDOME staff offering an exciting entertainment line-up and ride offerings that attract more than 50,000 guests.

The Cajun Heartland State Fair is managed by an innovative and insightful team of professionals priding themselves on knowing the right mix of entertainment arranged to provide maximum enjoyment for all ages. The ride specials, food, free attractions and family oriented games make an outstanding summer experience. Dan-Dan and his Sarcastic Sidekick trade Farmyard Funnies, sing Silly Songs and interact with the Audience. When the Cornball Clodhopper cranks up his Crop-Quenching Contraption, these Rural Rubes conjure up a Crowd Cooling Cloudburst!

4:30 PM, 6:45 PM, 8:45 PM; Golf Open 2 PM - 10 PM: Dino Takeover & Mini Golf

Step back in time to meet up to 8 of your favorite dinosaurs. During the show, you can expect to see a baby dinosaur hatch, witness how we train dinosaurs, and even have a 12ft, 2000 lb velociraptor play hide and seek with a few lucky kids. Have life-sized fun when you visit our 50-foot brachiosaurus named Tiny, a 22-foot triceratops named Fluffy, and Thumper, a beautiful 20-foot ankylosaurus.

3:00 PM, 5:15 PM 7:30 PM: Dragon Training Academy

Watch as inventor & time traveler Brock Barnabas visits the present time to recruit some adventurous kids to travel back to the Medieval times. They train to help deal with an overpopulation of dragons! Kids are trained to both defend against and tame down dragons using Brock's amazing science-based inventions and techniques.

Wildlife Adventure Center & Petting Zoo

Discover the ultimate educational and interactive experience at our agricultural and wildlife zoo! This hands-on exotic animal petting zoo has captivated audiences at fairs and festivals nationwide. With 40-50 animals, including 15-20 rare and exotic species from around the globe, every visit is an unforgettable adventure. Attraction Hours: Fair Open to 1 Hour Prior to Fair Close
