These special excursions are planned be powered by Western Maryland Shay No. 6. The last Shay locomotive built and largest to survive.

Important Information:
This train in not fully wheelchair/handicap accessible. A wheelchair/handicap car (B) is available but must be reserved in advance.
There is only one restroom onboard (in Car C).
Restroom facilities are available at both stops (ghost town of Spruce and Whittaker Station picnic area).
