“Since 2000, Arvizu Advertising and Grand Canyon University have partnered to raise funds to offer scholarships for Hispanic high school students. Arvizu Scholarships has raised over $750,000 to provide financial aid to Minority Students to help them further their education. Arvizu Scholarships is proud to have touched the lives of 520 students!” Arvizu/Grand Canyon University Foundation scholarships for future and current Grand Canyon University students will be awarded (on-site).

Your 2025 Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival headlining performer on the main stage located on 5th Ave. and Washington is Los Lobos! Five blood brothers who have dedicated their off-stage time to helping others, working for peace and justice, penning some of the most literate and important music of their time, transforming the hard cries from the East L.A. barrio into songs of hope, tales of common folk finding ways to endure. The young wolves were weaned on late-night radio’s soul, R&B, and doo-wop. Were cured through the African-American currents of the blues, jazz, and rock ‘n’ roll. An amalgam. As proud Chicanos, their songs have always glistened with the distillation from their Mexican and Latin American roots— nourished by Norteña and rancheras, buoyed by bolero and cumbias, soaring on the rhythms of son huasteco and son jarocho.

Your 2025 Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival headlining performer on the main stage located on 5th Ave. and Washington will be GQ! Formed in the Brox, New York, primarily noted for its success in funk, R&B, soul music and disco. Their biggest hit being 1979’s “Disco Nights (Rock-Freak)”, a single from their debut album Disco Nights, which reached #1 for two weeks on the R&B singles chart, #3 on the Hot Dance Club Play, and #12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Following their remake, “I Do Love You“, was also successful, reaching #20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
