Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of All Ages, Welcome to Peru, Indiana, the Circus Capital of the World and home to the Peru Amateur Youth Circus and Circus City Festival, Inc.!

Join us in mid-July as we celebrate our Circus Heritage in Peru, Indiana with Great Family Entertainment in the American Tradition.

Experience the beautifully costumed young performers who are so skilled that circus fans find it hard to believe they are amateurs. Enjoy the rides, food, games and more on the main streets of Peru and for the grand finale, Peru’s own Circus City Parade, one of Indiana’s largest parades, steps off on the final Saturday.

Circus Parade - 10:00 AM

On the concluding Saturday of the festival, Circus City Festival hosts the only annually running circus heritage parade in the United States. Authentic circus wagons, clowns, calliopes, wild animals, floats, and bands make their way down the center streets of the town. This parade is the longest running circus parade in the country and the second largest parade in Indiana.
