Join Mayor Brett Smiley and the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism for the City’s annual Independence Day Celebration!
This celebration will be held at India Point Park in partnership with Narragansett Brewery on Wednesday, July 2 at 5:30pm. The event, which will feature family fun, live entertainment, and a fireworks display, is free and open to the public.
The City of Providence's Independence Day Celebration is sponsored by the City of Providence and Providence Tourism Council. The main stage kicks off at 6:00 PM with a live performances by Big Lux and The Hype.

The City of Providence recognizes that while fireworks provide enjoyment for many, loud noises and bright, flashing lights can cause discomfort or pose health concerns for some people and animals.
The fireworks display is expected to last from 9:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
