Every summer, Classical Tahoe brings four weeks of world-class jazz and classical music performance to the beautiful campus of the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe in Incline Village.
Schedule of Events:
11:00 am - 2:00 pm: Family Concert and Music Maker's Faire: Kids Take the Stage
Local students from the Greater Tahoe-Truckee-Reno area take the stage as we welcome young musicians to perform in the Family Concert alongside small ensembles from Classical Tahoe! In our instrument exploration zone, middle and high school music students will show younger children how the instruments work, sound, and feel.
The Nevada Discovery Museum will be on hand to create hands-on music and science stations for children to draw, paint, and make their own percussion and string instruments. As a special treat, the Sierra Alphorn Players will demonstrate their unique instruments on the Great Lawn.
