The Tri-Cities Family YMCA invites you to join us for the Coast Guard City USA Run, presented by Trinity Health Grand Haven! Whether you are an avid racer or an occasional walker, there is something for everyone and all ages are welcome.
Our races consist of a US Track & Field certified 5K Run/Walk, a US Track & Field certified 10K Run/Walk, the OAM Combo 5K +10K Run/Walk Coastie Challenge, and a 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (be sure to bring your wagon or stroller).
Join us for this fun family event as we promote healthy lifestyles and building community in the Tri-Cities area! See you on the race course!
Race Course
The race begins near the corner of Sherman Avenue and Mulligan Drive just east of the Tri-Cities Family YMCA. All events conclude in front of the YMCA. The course is challenging, with varied terrain, and offers the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan and Grand Haven. The 5k and 10k routes are US Track & Field Certified.
Age Groups and Awards
5K, 10K, and OAM/i'move Coastie Challenge 5K+10K Male & Female Open and Masters, Age 8 and under, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and over. You may pick up your custom pin at the designated tent. If you are unable to pick up on race day, please visit the Tri-Cities Family YMCA Welcome Center the week following the race to pick up your custom pin. A QR code to view results will be provided in various locations.
All 5K,10K, OAM/i'move Coastie Challenge 5K+10K race participants will receive a finisher medal! OAM/i'move Coastie Challenge 5K+10K will also receive a BOCO hat! 1-Mile participants will receive a finisher medal!
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive run/walk for the entire family (strollers and wagons welcome).
