The Annual Colonial Fort Halifax Festival at Fort Halifax Park is an enjoyable history event for everyone.  Friends of Fort Halifax Park, Inc. (FoFHP) hosts three events during two days. The free parking and admission Colonial Festival is open from 10am to 5pm on the first Saturday of May with living history demonstrations, French and Indian War trade and battle reenactments, British, French, and Native American encampments, handmade period artisans, the Central York Middle School Fife and Drum Corp., handmade arts and crafts, delicious food, hay wagon rides, and much more entertainment for everyone.

The Friday before the Colonial Festival FoFHP hosts 5th grade students for a living history Education Day doing round-robin hands-on demonstrations. In the evening, for members, living historians, reenactors, and guests an Appreciation Reception with a guest speaker is held.  The speakers present interesting history of the time-period and are always informative and entertaining.
