Come support Council's local High School Cross Country team in a beautiful run around town. Council is nestled in the foothills of the Payette National Forest and is the jumping point for many great outdoor recreational activities. The route goes around the site of the old mill and includes a portion of the famed Weiser River Trail. Distance options include a mile run (beginning at 9:30 am) and a 5k (beginning at 10 am). Dress up in a costume for a chance to win a ribbon. Costume categories include: Best Overall Costume, Best group Costume, and Best Halloween Costume. Judges: Council's Cross Country Team. The top 3 male, top 3 female, and top 3 children ages 12 and under will receive medals. The proceeds from this fundraiser go towards the Council High School Cross Country team. $20 registration fee if you sign up online before October 18th, otherwise it's $25 on the day of the race, payable upon check in. $10 for Students grades K-12. Ages 5 and under and strollers are free.
