Nebraska Game & Parks Commission is celebrating 30 years of the Cowboy Trail with a bike ride, dinner and social on the bridge. Join in on all three parts of the day or pick and choose what you'd like to participate in!

The whole day is a fundraising event to support the improvement and investment in the Valentine Trailhead area for trail users and the community.

Trail Ride:

The day will kick off with a bike ride along the trail starting in Valentine down to Arabia Ranch. Either ride 32 miles with Arabia Ranch as your turnaround point, or ride 16 miles and end your ride at the ranch. Shuttles will be available for those who choose the shorter distanc

An aid station with water and snacks is available at mile 16 / turn-around point.

Schedule of Events

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Registration & Check-In at Picnic Shelter

9:00 AM: Ride Starts!

The bike ride kicks off at 9:00 am and will go along the Cowboy Trail until the Arabia Ranch Parking Lot. An aid station is available at the parking lot, along with shuttles for those who only want to ride one-way. Please mark on your registration which distance you prefer to do.

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Celebration Dinner at Picnic Shelter

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Social at Valentine Bridge on The Cowboy Trail

Celebration Dinner:

Dinner will be served at Valentine Trailhead Park and is a celebration of how far we've come in the past 30 years, while looking to the future of the trail system.

Dietary accomodations: Dinner will include prime rib, cheesy hash browns, salad, and a dinner roll. Tea and water will also be served. Reach out to the event coordinator if you have dietary restrictions at 402.309.6329.
