CroFest 2025: A Sesquicentennial Slovenian & Croatian Celebration

Join us on August 9-10, 2025, in Calumet, Michigan, for CroFest, a free, family-friendly festival celebrating Slovenian and Croatian heritage as part of the Village of Calumet’s 150th anniversary (sesquicentennial) and the Calumet Theatre’s 125th anniversary.

10 am. - Brass band baton twirling Tamburitza welcome event at the Theatre!

11-3pm
- Ethnic Croatian dishes al fresco between Shube's & Calumet Theatre!
- Savor mouth watering classic Balkan Ćevapčići reformulated by Chef Phill Vučinić & prepared by Joe King & Pajdaši! Hmmmmm!!!!
- Feel the cultural rythm with traditional music & Kolo dancing!
- Browse souvenir vendors & historic display tables ripe for discovery!

8:30pm - Join us at Shube's for drinks & the foot stompin' sounds of the Pajdaši Tamburaši tambura band ... then it's Tambura Jam Time!!!
