8 AM: FIRECRACKER 5K
The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office will be hosting the 5k and fun run starting at the Visitors Center
10 AM-3 PM: CAR SHOW
The Dahlonega Car Club will host the 19th Annual 4th of July Car Show at 150 Courthouse Hill with music, food, and doorprize drawings.
12 PM: FOOD TRUCKS OPEN
A variety of local food vendors will set up shop around Hancock Park to satisfy all those 4th of July cravings! Hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, and more!
2:35 PM: DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
Gather at the balcony of the Dahlonega Gold Museum for the reading of the Declaration of Independence
3 PM: PATRIOTIC DOWNTOWN PARADE
Our very own 4th of July parade will roll through the town square in the afternoon. Gather around the Courthouse to enjoy the show! Click Here For Parade Application
4 PM: KIDS ADVENTURE ZONE OPENS
Head to Hancock Park for face painting, caricatures, and games for the whole family,
6:30 PM: FREE CONCERT IN THE PARK
Grab a bite to eat at one of our downtown restaurants and then head back to the park for a free concert!
DARK: FIREWORKS SHOW ON THE DRILL FIELD
Bring lawn chairs or blankets to the UNG Drill Field (Use "Georgia Circle" to find on GPS) and enjoy a patriotic DJ set until the 15 MINUTE fireworks show begins
