Celebrate health, wellness, and the natural morning beauty of Baldwin Lake before you and your family head over to the Meijer Grand Dansk Parade.
The 5K Run/Walk is a timed event with medals to the top 3 male and female finishers in these categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, and 75 and over.
The USA Track & Field certified 5K course begins and ends on Faber Street near Baldwin Heights Elementary School, travels through Tower Park, past historic Manoka Lake, around Baldwin Lake, past scenic views of Taylor Hops, and concludes with a gradual hill up Marvel Drive.
Strollers and wagons are welcome- please line up behind runners.
Register by July 31 to be guaranteed a race shirt. Extra shirts will be available the day of the Danish Dash, but quantities and sizes will be limited.
Race shirts for the 5K run/walk will be handed out on race day at check-in, starting at 7 a.m.
You can register online, even on race day, but race shirts cannot be guaranteed for those registering after July 31.
Dress like a Dane and enter our costume contest! Winners will be announced after the Kids Half Mile Fun Run.
