The Danville Heritage Festival is a community celebration of all things Danville. This year’s festival will be in conjunction with the Fall Arts & Crafts Festival centered around Mill Street, with special events at other locations throughout the Danville community.
Enjoy living history presentations, historic tours of Danville, train rides, live music, vendors, great food, fireworks, hikes, and much more!

9am - 4pm: Central & Northeastern PA Pediatric Cancer Awareness Committee
A committee of local businesses and volunteers from across our region who have been teaming up since 2015 to raise awareness about pediatric cancer, the Central & Northeastern PA Pediatric Cancer Awareness Committee will be hosting a month-long calendar of awareness event. Stop by Canal Park to learn more, enjoy music, and support the ThinkBIG Pediatric Cancer Fund, an organization focused on alleviating financial stress for local families battling pediatric cancer.

Andy Gutknecht, who now lives in Philadelphia, was born and raised in Danville and has always loved historic photographs. Using the vast archive of historic Danville photographs shared by John Mazich and others on the "Danville Pennsylvania Present, Past & Future" Facebook page, Andy will lead a "time travel" tour through more than 200 years of Danville history, while enjoying a leisurely walk through downtown. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a smart phone or tablet, if possible.

1pm-2pm: Eel Dam River Walk w/ Van Wagner
Join Van Wagner for a walk to the remnants of the eel dam in the North Branch Susquehanna River (river levels permitting). Meet at the F.Q. Hartman Recreation Area parking lot. Please bring your own life vest.
